Park opposite the Roubion holiday centre in a large field before the bridge over the Roubion.
(S/E). Cross the field to join theGR®5-GR®57trail.
(1) Continue north on this wide path, pass the forest track barrier and reach the forest hut.
(2) Leave the track and start a steep climb on the path which winds its way past the Cheminée de Fée.
(3) Continue and ignore the path on the right (signposted Névache), start a series of hairpin bends and, on leaving the forest, join theGR®5B-GR®57coming from the Col de l'Echelle (red and white markings).
(4) Continue north-west then north, pass below the Cabane Pastorale des Thures, continue north into the Vallon des Thures and after a final short climb you will reach the pretty Lac Chavillon at the Col des Thures.
(5) Go around the lake and at its northern tip, take the path on the left that leads to Lac Bellety.
(6) Begin the descent south-east through the mountain pastures or follow the herd tracks to easily rejoin the outward path at the Trou de Micouret.
(7) Continue on the same route downhill to the Cheminée de Fée.
(3) Turn left onto the correct path marked in yellow, cross the forest and arrive at a crossroads.
(8) Leave the trail that climbs back up to theGR®5Bon your left and descend to the right. After the switchbacks, continue straight ahead at the next crossroads. Reach the wide track running along the left bank of the Roubion torrent. Reach the footbridge and you will find the car park on your right.
