The starting point is in Mons-en-Pévèle, at the intersection of Rue de Vacquerie (D120) and Rue Saint-Jean (D954), near the roundabout. There is a car park on the right at the beginning of Rue Saint-Jean.
(S/E) From the roundabout on Rue Saint-Jean, take Rue de la Distillerie opposite.
(1) Turn right at thefirst street, which is Résidence Quenpoinne.
(2) At the end of the street, take the path on the left. Cross the road called Pavé Goube and stay on the path. You will see the Ferme du Quenpoinne on your left. Continue to a T-junction.
(3) Turn left, heading north. At the end of the path, you will arrive at Rue de la Vincourt.
(4) Turn right onto this street. You will reach a first intersection at a place called Vincourt. Continue straight ahead on the paved road called Pavé de la Croix Blanche, famous in the Paris-Roubaix cycle race.
(5) Just before the large high-voltage electricity pylon, turn right onto the Voie Verte de la Pévèle and stay on it until almost the end of the walk. Please note that there may be bicycles on this path. Cross Rue du Pavé to stay on the Voie Verte.
(6) Cross the D917 at the pedestrian crossing to stay on the Voie Verte. You will see the town of Bersée on your left, with its beautiful Church of the Invention of the Relics of Saint Stephen. Cross Rue Nestor Longue Épée (D954), then Rue de Mingoval to stay on the Voie Verte.
(7) Cross Rue de Potence and then a stream. The path then curves gently to the right for several hundred metres. Pass by the Lartois farm. The town of Faumont is on your left, to the south.
(8) Cross the D917 again at the pedestrian crossing to stay on the Voie Verte. Cross Rue Colette, then a small stream called Courant de Coutiches Amont.
(9) Cross the D930 with caution to stay on the Voie Verte. The hamlet on the right is called Le Paradis. The path turns gently to the right again. Head north towards Mons-en-Pévèle. In the town, cross a path and then Rue de la Vacquerie (D120) and walk alongside a stadium.
(10) Leave the Greenway by turning right onto Rue du 8 Mai, then Rue du Pas Roland. Head towards the abbey to reach Rue de l'Abbaye. Pass under its gate.
(11) You can admire the small Jardin de la Salle des Batailles and the Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-la-Poterie. Stay on Rue de l'Abbaye and pass the Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste on your right. When you reach the Tourist Office, take Rue Saint-Jean on the right, which leads to the roundabout (S/E).
