Departure from the Thiéry car park located near the communal inn.
(S/E) From the car park, the Chapelle Saint-Roch chapel is at the far end of the car park. Take the track on the left. Look for marker no. 86 towards "Villa Souberre". Shortly afterwards, this pleasant path enters a pine forest until it reaches a bend to the right of the track.
(1) Marker 94, continue to the right along the road towards "Thiery via the Blaches track". The nearby "Roudiquiéry" spring provides refreshing water in summer. Continue until you reach a bend to the left of the track.
(2) At the cairn, turn right onto the steep wooded path and arrive at the Villa Souberre crossroads.
(If you miss the cairn, don't worry, the road also leads to Villa Souberre).
(3) Marker no. 83 named "Villa Souberre" (don't look for a villa-type building, this is the name of the locality), turn right onto this flat carriageway, walk past the stone trough and the fire water reservoir heading south. Continue until you reach a Y-junction.
(4) Marker no. 82, turn left towards "La Madone-Thiery" and continue along the descending, wooded path, with its ancient terraced walls, to the Col de la Madone (1183 m). Cross the road and reach the chapel wall.
(5) Marker 81, follow the signs for "Thiéry". Walk along the wall and pass in front of the chapel entrance. The path turns right, following old houses, and descends into the wooded valley towards the village of Thiéry until you reach the crossroads.
(6) Marker 95, turn right towards "Thiéry", walk along the old aqueduct, then the kennel to reach the road.
(7) Turn left and continue along the downhill road leading to the village called "voie Marcel Raspini". Although traffic is rare, remain vigilant.
(8) Take the only access road to the village, which leads to "Place dei Tubans". Continue along "La Carrière" street to the stone archway. Take the time to observe the old houses in the village, blackened by smoke. At the church, turn left onto "Chastela" road, which will take you to the orientation table.
(9) The orientation table offers beautiful views of the Cians Gorges and the Alps. Turn around and take La Carrière street back to the upper part of the village, which is our starting point. (S/E)
