Start at Nucourt Church, which is unusual in that it is located outside the village. From the centre of Nucourt, head towards Sérans and, on leaving the village, take a small road on the left (signposted: église, cressonnière). When you reach the church, pass under a stone porch and park just behind it in the dirt car park.
(S/E) Walk back under the entrance porch and, at the crossroads, take the road on the right leading downhill. At the bottom, follow the road on the left signposted “lavoir et cressonnière”. Pass the wash house and arrive at the hamlet of La Cressonnière.
(1) Turn right onto a street that becomes a path running alongside a channelled ditch, then enters a wood. Ignore the first path leading uphill to the right, then a second one branching off to the left, and continue straight on for over a kilometre.
(2) As soon as you leave the woods, take a grassy path that climbs to the left, then leads onto the plateau. Pass a copse and, immediately afterwards, turn left. The path bends to the right, then descends towards a small track at a place called La Croix Saint-Gilles.
(3) Continue straight on along this road until it ends.
(4) Then turn left and enter the hamlet of Blamécourt. Continue along this street for 500 m, then turn left into Rue du Moulin de Bureau. Pass the old railway line and arrive at a crossroads.
(5) Take the Sente du Loup, which climbs up opposite. At the top, take the road furthest to the left, towards Velannes-la-Ville.
(6) At the hamlet, continue straight on; the road becomes a track running parallel to the Aubette de Magny and leads back to the hamlet of La Cressonnière. Continue straight on along the road, passing the electricity substation, and turn right to follow the Chemin de la Cressonnière. Once on the plateau, ignore a path coming from the right and continue straight on to return to the church at Nucourt
(S/E).
