To get to the start from Valbeleix, take the D127 towards La Chavade. At the next junction, turn left onto the D641 and head for the plateau. Park immediately on the left in the grassy car park by the recycling bins.
(S/E) On leaving the car park, follow the road to the left until you reach the track on the right, just before the wayside cross.
(1) Take this track and carry on until you reach a three-way junction.
(2) Turn right and head for an orientation table at the summit of Roche Nité.
(3) Continue along the ridge until you reach a second orientation table.
(4) Carry on to the right along the path that leads down. When you reach the road, head right, taking care on the bend, and you’ll soon reach the car park (S/E).
