La Peyrouse walks
Circular route around the three peaks of Conest
This lovely circular route leads to the Conest (or Conex or Connex) summit plateau, which is a vast area of pasture.
Although the climb may seem a little long, it is very pleasant and a magnificent reward awaits the hiker once at the top: a 360° panorama offering views of the Belledonne, Taillefer, Grandes-Rousses, Dévoluy and Vercors mountain ranges.
The ‘Difficult’ rating is due to the combination of distance and elevation gain, both of which are significant.

Pic Saint-Michel via the Vertige des Cimes
A very classic route that takes you to four remarkable viewpoints in succession, offering views of Grenoble and its valley, as well as the Vercors plateau, the Rocher de l’Ours and the Roc Cornafion. It’s a hike you should do at least once if you’re in the area.
Ideally, you should take two cars up and leave one at the finish, which is at the Parking des Barnets, two hairpin bends below the start point at the Lans-en-Vercors resort.
Gresse en Vercors - Pas des hollowed-out tree trunks serving as drinking troughs
The first stage starts at Champ de l'Herse and goes to Pas des Bachassons. It passes by the Brisou ridge, offering a first panoramic view. There is a climb of over 1,000 metres, but you will be rewarded by the beauty of Pas des Bachassons.
Jasse du Play shelter - Pré Peyret hut
The fourth stage of this crossing is also the least physically demanding. Very flat and short, it takes you across vast meadows. But you can spice it up with the Grand Veymont option.
