It was a pleasure and a success to be able to introduce people to this walk in glorious autumnal weather.
We’re now planning to do the one in Villebourgeon.
Thank you for this route, which runs largely through the forest and takes in the beauty of these ponds.

A lovely walk in every respect – highly recommended.

But as nothing is perfect, I spotted two errors in the route instructions, which we corrected using the map on our smartphone. At point 4: reach an inverted Y-junction and follow the path on the right. This is incorrect – you need to go straight on, leave the grassy path and take the hard-standing path opposite.

At point 13, there’s also a minor error, which is less serious as it has fewer consequences. I can’t remember exactly, but there’s some confusion between the Chaumont and Ardillat paths.

Thanks to the author of this route; it’s encouraged us to try another one.
