Park in the car park next to the restaurant Le Bistrot du Coing (Luberon Park information sign) along the D900 before the junction with the D35/D209.
(S/E) In front of the restaurant, cross the road and take the D174 towards Saint-Eusèbe.
(1) In the hamlet of Saint-Quentin, in the bend, continue left along the dead-end road (yellow line). After passing the walls of the Château de Saint-Quentin, the path enters the undergrowth.
A few hundred metres further on, take a break to admire the large oak tree, which is several hundred years old... In the hamlet of Les Gavots, turn left along the road, then take the first right. Follow the road for a while, then continue along a path.
(2) At the crossroads, take another path that climbs up to the left into the woods. This path is the old road to Saignon, where you can admire the beautiful dry stone walls and the cobblestone pavement. The path leads to a small plateau surrounded by cherry and lavender fields. The village is in front of you. At the stop sign, turn right onto the road.
(3) At the first bend, follow the orange trail that branches off to the right into the undergrowth. When you reach the tarmac road, cross it and continue straight ahead on Chemin du Bourget, passing beautiful properties until you reach the village. The climb to the top of the Saignon rock is signposted "Rocher de Bellevue".
At the entrance to Saignon, take the steps on the right. At the top of the steps, first turn left then right to go up the street, then take the next set of steps to reach the viewpoint on the left.
(4) Then go back down the stairs and turn right to join Rue Cilly. Follow it to the right, then left, and you will reach the bottom of the village. Turn right until you reach the municipal sports ground.
(5) Leave the road and follow theGR® trail on the left, which descends through the fields. This trail offers a beautiful view of Apt and its valley. Join the road and turn right until the next fork.
(6) Leave the GR®. Turn right onto thePR® and follow the road. Pass the 357 mark. Continue along the road until you reach a wide left-hand bend.
(7) Then turn right, off the marked trail, onto a dirt track that runs alongside the vineyards on the right and then curves left between two vineyards. Leave the first track on the right and continue straight ahead.
(8) At the crossroads, continue to the right. The path turns into a tarmac road after about 100 metres. When you reach a crossroads, rejoin the D174 and follow it to the right to reach Les Gavots.
At Les Gavots, turn left and follow the route you took at the start until you reach the car park next to the La Fabuleuz restaurant (Luberon Park information sign) along the D900 before the junction with the D35/D209 (S/E).
