From the D979, north-west of Bort-les-Orgues, follow the signs for Site du Mont. The picnic area listed by the IGN at the end of the access road to the site no longer exists. Park at the end of the road.
(S/E) You will immediately notice a beautiful oak tree which, according to the IGN, is a Sully tree. There is no further information on site. Take the path on the left (Site sign).
(1) Viewpoint over the lake and Val Castle. Return to the access road by retracing your steps (S/E).
S/E : km 0.66 - alt. 648 m - End of the access road
Notes
Given the distance and elevation gain, this hike can only be described as easy. However, the trail is a little rough in places and not that easy, so I recommend wearing suitable footwear.
