The Saint-Pierre Cross at the Saint-Just megalithic alignments

On the road from Poubreuil to La Fresnais, as you leave Poubreuil, take the first dirt track on the left.
Park in the bend to the left, which allows you to explore the megaliths on either side of this bend.

(S/E) Head west and carry on straight ahead until you reach the junction of four paths.

(1) At the crossroads, carry on straight ahead. Walk past the ‘Allée Couverte’, known as the Croix de Saint-Pierre. At the next junction, turn left, heading south. There is a commanding view over the Étang du Val. You will come to a T-junction.

(2) Turn right for a closer view of the pond, then retrace your steps and continue straight ahead. You’ll return to the first junction where you started.

(1) Turn right to return to the car (S/E).
