Yellow markings
(S/E) With your back to the town hall, go down the road on the right for 200 m. Turn right onto the path, which starts at a barn, marked with a sign for Chapelle Saint-Christophe. The path climbs gradually to Col des Vachons.
(1) Take the right-hand track (the left-hand track is the return route), continuing towards Chapelle Saint-Christophe. After alternating descents and ascents, some of which are steep, you will arrive at a wide path.
(2) Turn left onto the path. After about 1.5km, go through a gate and you will reach a large crossroads. Continue straight ahead on the track for a few metres, then turn left towards the clearly visible Chapelle Saint-Christophe.

Cross the small cemetery and descend to the right via the steps that join the track at the Saint-Christophe Chapel signpost.
(3) Turn left onto the track, then immediately take the path that climbs opposite towards Col de Pourcheton (ignore the tracks to the left and right). At the crossroads near the No. 2 hunting shelter, continue straight ahead for about 500 metres until you reach another crossroads.
(4) Turn right, 200m further on, after a short descent, continue straight ahead and reach another crossroads at Serre de la Tuilerie (not marked on the map). Continue on the path on the right, which turns left and then narrows into a good track. After about 300 metres, you will reach a crossroads (not marked on the map). Turn right until you reach a small pass with a sign for Serre des Trois Bornes.
(5) Turn left towards Col de Pourcheton on a stony path leading downhill. At a bend, stay on the marked path to the right, pass a ruin and arrive at Col de Pourcheton.
(6) Turn left, downhill, towards Puymorel. After a pleasant descent, you will arrive at a signpost.

(7) Continue straight ahead on the path towards Saillans and you will come to a vineyard.
(8) Before reaching the shed, turn left onto a path that leads to a track. Follow it to the left until you reach the junction with a Babrou sign. Turn left onto the non-private path. At the next junction, take the left-hand path again. Cross the first ford over the stream and then take the right-hand path. At the second ford, do the same, following the path on the right. After zigzagging through the forest, the path descends to the third ford. Cross and climb up the left-hand track, which joins a track in front of the Maison Forestière de Roury.
(9) Turn left and follow the track to the Baubruchin junction.
(10) Turn right towards Col des Vachons, staying on the track until you reach a small bridge over a stream.
(11) Leave the track and turn left onto the path that climbs gently through the forest to Col des Vachons.
(1) Turn right along the same route to return to the car park (S/E).
so we walked it again on 28/02/2025 in the sunshine with a cool temperature that was ideal for hiking.
