Start from Place Saint-Jean in La Boissière École.
(S/E) Head down towards the D80, cross this road and head towards the Sentier des Lapins, running alongside the fields. Continue to the sewage treatment plant and, once opposite it, go round to the left of the plant.
Continue straight along the path until you reach the entrance to Mittainville. Turn left towards the church, cross the D71 and head for the church.
(1) Go round the back of the church on the left, continue to the end and turn right onto the road. At the Fork in the road, head right, then climb up towards the Sablons quarries and join the D80.
(2) Cross the road and head right for 200m, take the first path on the left towards the Ferme de Toulifaut, pass the farm and continue to the Croix de Toulifaut.
(3) Turn right towards La Butte Ronde; when you reach the crossroads at the bottom of the small hill, turn left towards Le Passoir until you reach the next Fork in the road.
(4) Turn left and follow this track to the end.
(5) Once on Rue du Passoir, carry on straight ahead until you reach the D71, passing the Château de la Boissière on your left – which, unfortunately, is not open to visitors – and the Haras de Bory on your right, which is open to visitors. One of the largest in Europe, with its restaurant, La Grange. Turn left at the entrance to the château towards the centre of La Boissière-École; you’ll also pass the École Hériot, which is a boarding school.
(6) At the roundabout, turn right and head up the hill, passing the Town Hall and the school; then turn left towards the car park to reach Place Saint-Jean (S/E).
