Departure in front of the town hall.
(S/E) Take Rue de la Mairie to the right with your back to the town hall, then turn left onto
Rue des Mais (pronounced "mais" and not "maïs")
Go down the first street on the right between the houses until you reach the edge of the woods.
(1) Turn right and follow the path straight ahead. Take a quick look at the beautiful property on your left, along the Suippe river with the Heutrégiville mill in the background. Cross the small bridge over the weir to the Grand Rue. Turn left, cross the bridge over the Suippe (another view of the mill).
(2) At the RD20, turn right then take the first left, Rue de la Gare, to the old station.
Take the greenway on the right. Go straight ahead until you reach the Roman road.
Turn right, cross the RD20 and enter Vaudetré. Continue straight ahead, cross the Suippe again and take the path on the right (this public path does not appear on the map but does exist; it is even passable by vehicle and used by tractors).
(3) Follow this path along the edge of the woods (woods on your right and fields on your left). Take the second path on the right and cross the woods for about 50 metres (a place called Le Pont Vert).
(4) At the first path, turn right, walk along the woods again (woods on your right), then turn left at the next path and head back up towards the village. Cross the RD33 and, opposite, follow Rue des Places to the town hall (S/E).
