Description of the walk

Starting point of the hiking tour: Car park on Quellenweg

(S/E) From the car park, follow Hein-Timm-Weg eastwards.

(1) Shortly afterwards, you will reach the source of the Alster. Follow the path over a bridge and turn right at the next junction. Take the next left, then right again. You will pass a meadow where you can see several deer.

(2) At the end of the path, turn left onto Immbarg, then take the second right, second left and keep left at the fork.

(3) The path leads through a small heathland area.

(4) We pass an information board about the birds in the Henstedter Moor. At the end of the path, we turn right onto a road, then take the next left. The path leads us into the beautiful Schlappenmoor. We turn right at the next junction.

(5) Cross the Alster. Take the next left, then right and left again.

(6) At the small car park, turn left. At the end of the road behind the buildings, turn right onto Timmhagen, then left, then right again. Follow the familiar path back to the car park (S/E).
