Departure from the car park near the community hall and sports grounds.
(S/E) Head down towards the village centre. Leave the square via Route de Velair.
(1) Very soon after the town hall and library, take Chemin du Bois d'Affoux, which climbs up to the left. This path climbs above the village and follows the side of the valley. Continue along this path, ignoring the paths and tracks on your right that descend back into the valley.
(2) When you reach the crossroads marked by a calvary, continue straight ahead, ignoring the paths that go up and down. Continue along this small tarmac road.
(3) Continue along the hillside, ignoring the road that descends to the right after the farm.
(4) Another crossroads, another calvary. Once again, continue straight ahead.
(5) Take the path that descends to the right into the meadow and passes in front of the farm shed. This path climbs up to the ridge and joins theGR®7.
(6) Meeting point with theGR®7marked on a tree at the intersection. Follow theGR® along the path that climbs up to your left, straight towards the ridge in front of you. Continue climbing straight ahead.
(7) At this crossroads, clearly marked by signs, take the path that branches off to your left. You will walk alongside strawberry fields and enjoy a superb view over the Brévenne. Ignore the first path on your right. At the calvary (erected in 1847), take the left-hand path that stays on the ridge.
(8) Stay on this path, ignoring the paths to the right and left. The path descends gradually and then very steeply (passing by an old adobe peasant's hut). When you reach a tarmac road, follow it to the right, down a very steep slope.
You will find yourself on the Verrières road. Take this road on your left, going downhill.
After passing the boules court and the large community hall, you will arrive at the car park where you started (S/E).
