Florenville – Meix-devant-Virton

(S) As you leave the car park, with your back to the campsite, take the path that climbs through the woods to the first house. Turn left onto Rue des Mémorettes, then left onto Rue de l’Église, left again onto Rue Sainte-Anne and left once more onto Rue de la Station.

(1) At the old cemetery, turn right into Rue d’Izel. At the first junction, carry on straight ahead. At the Y-junction, turn right, staying on Rue d’Izel. Cross the railway line to the next junction.

(2) Turn right – Rue de Mnéline – then left onto Rue Albert 1er. Continue to the Pin roundabout. Take the^first exit. Follow Rue de l’Amérique. Do not go under the railway line. At the ‘Y’ junction, follow the road to the left, ignoring all side roads and lanes. Follow the edge of the forest until you reach a four-way junction.

(3) Take Rue d’Orval on the right opposite, then follow the first path on the left. Join Route de Virton (N891). Turn right, passing under the railway line. At the first junction (‘Y’), continue along the N891 to the left.

(4) Continue along the N891 until you reach some ponds, ignoring all side paths. Continue along the tarmac road straight ahead, ignoring the path that branches off to the left. Cross the stream until you reach the first path on the right.

(5) Follow this path – the GRP®162 trail – as it enters the woods, then turn left immediately. Continue straight ahead, cross a road and rejoin the N891. The path runs parallel to the road before curving to the right.

(6) Join the N891. Turn right, then left onto the Route de Meix. (see practical information)

(7) Follow it to the left. Continue along it until you reach a left-hand bend on a downhill stretch.

(8) Take the path leading straight ahead on the right (Rue de Célimont). Ignore the two streets coming from the right and join the Route de Meix.

(9) Follow Route de Meix to the right, then turn left onto Rue Firmin Lepage. Random stop: homestay accommodation (E)

At point (6), there is an extension of the route that the app does not follow. To take this, follow the path overlooking the road, which starts opposite at the beginning of the bend in the track. Follow it until you rejoin the N891. Turn right, then left onto the Route de Meix.
