Description of the walk

Start: Car park along Regional Road 71, just after Grange Lane, Cockermouth (CA13 0SU), Free. Grid ref. NY 118 224

(S/E) From the car park, cross the road to take the path North going to Askill. Pass Miresyke farm then Askill farm and continue straight (North) on the large path until seeing a path on the right after 1Km or so.

(1) Turn right towards Mosser Fell (East) then the path will bend on the left to reach Fellbarrow summit. The path is not really visible. Good navigation skill is needed.

(3) Once at Low Fell summit, go down (South) following the path until a fence. Pass the fence, turn right (West) to walk down until Crabtree Beck. Cross the beck and take left on the path that bypass Darling Fell. Continue straight on this path until reaching Askill Farm.

(4) Turn left to walk back to the car park. (S/E)
