Luisenpfad adventure trail

A beautiful family trail with interactive stations such as a wooden organ or basketball hoop, plenty of seating and sweeping views, which leads along a mixture of beautiful narrow paths and slightly wider trails.

Description of the walk

Start: Hiking car park in the street "Am Köppel". From Frankfurter Straße, turn into Talstraße and then left onto "Am Köppel". Here you will find the hiking car park and the start of the circular hike.

(S/E) We start through the gate and follow the path uphill, past several interactive stations for young and old.

(1) We pass Köppel's cottage, a shelter that is ideal for a small picnic. Shortly afterwards, we follow the path to the left. This path is not marked on the map.

(2) We reach a somewhat hidden bench and can enjoy a great view from here. In front of us is a huge meadow where children can let off steam. Shortly afterwards, we pass a forest sofa and can enjoy another great view. Soon the main path continues to the right, but we keep slightly to the left and reach a raised hide.

(3) From here, we turn left briefly to the tree nursery, where we can discover different tree species. We return to the raised hide and continue straight ahead, passing it. The path leads downhill along a wide gravel path. We pass a beautiful picnic table before reaching the starting point a little later. (S/E)

The first part of the route has lots of interactive stations, which are great for children.

Along the way, you can enjoy fantastic, sweeping views.
