(S/E) From the Bourdon calvary, head to the cemetery and take the first path on the right. Follow this path eastwards and then north-eastwards to the D1001.
(1) Caution! Crossing the road is dangerous as there is a lot of fast-moving traffic. Take the small tarmac road opposite, slightly to the right, until you reach the crossroads with a dirt track on either side, marked by a wooden signpost indicating the direction (the inscriptions are a little faded but you can still see the red and white markings ofthe GR®123). Turn right and continue along the road. Continue straight ahead at the junction with the D81 to reach a bridge over the D1001.
(2) Continue straight ahead to Belloy-sur-Somme. Head towards the church, then leave theGR®123markings and go down Rue René Saint, leading to the RD1235, from where you can admire the Château d'En-Bas.
(3) Turn right and continue to the next intersection with the D259 (the shoulders are easily passable and paved). Continue left on the D259 towards Yzeux. Go around the Château, which unfortunately you cannot see much of, and immediately afterwards, turn left before the entrance to the village of Yzeux. Immediately afterwards, you will see a path leading off to the right.
(4) Take this path, marked with a sign indicating the direction of the Somme. Follow the path southwards to the Canal de la Somme. Here, you can sit on a bench and take a short break.
(5) Turn right and follow the canal as it winds its way to a bridge.
(6) Pass under the bridge and then immediately turn right to reach the centre of Bourdon, near the 18th-century church. To return to your starting point, take the D57 on the left towards Flixecourt (S/E).
