Between Les Moussières and Les Platières

Park in the car park at the Maison des Fromages des Moussières.

(S/E) Head north along the D292.

(1) Take the road that climbs up to your left towards Pré Fillet. Continue along the tarmac road until you reach a place called Les Rasses.

(2) Turn onto the road that climbs gently to your left. Carry on until you reach a place called Pré Coquet.

(3) At Pré Coquet, follow the path on the right. Carry on straight ahead until you reach the tarmac road.

(4) Turn left onto the tarmac road.

(5) At the first junction, turn right towards Bas de Laisia. Follow the main track to the edge of the forest. Leave this main track and take a narrower track on the right. Continue uphill through the woods to La Vie Neuve.

(6) In the hamlet, take the tarmac road and carry on until you reach the second path on the left.

(7) Turn left and continue along the track, then leave it just before the first house to follow a path through the meadows on the right.

(8) Pass the Cariche Chapel on your right and carry on straight ahead.

(9) Turn right, then walk past a farmhouse that has been renovated for holiday lets and follow the track to the junction with the track leading to the Cariche Chapel.

(10) Pass the chapel on your right, then turn left and continue along the path which descends to the D292.

(11) Turn right. Continue along the D292 until you reach the first junction at La Simard.

(12) Turn left towards Boulème.

(13) At Boulème, carry on straight ahead towards the three chimneys.

(14) Just before Les Humberts, take the track leading uphill on the right until you reach a tarmac road.

(15) At the crossroads, take the dirt track furthest to the right. Carry on along the track until you reach a junction.

(16) Pass the path leading to Borneval on your right and continue straight down to the Aux Prost farm.

Join the Route de la Laurende, then turn right to reach the Maison des Fromages (S/E).

When you arrive, you can visit the Moussières cheese dairy before stocking up on cheese!
