Starting from the village of Mabompré, this walk first takes you through the countryside before heading into the forest towards the Mabompré stream and the Pont de Sûhet bridge, then branches off towards the eastern Ourthe river until it reaches the confluence point.
Two-thirds of the way along the walk, the route leaves the forest and returns to the starting point through the countryside.
Some useful information:
(3) The trail disappears under the vegetation: follow a track that climbs the grassy slope to an overhanging path, where nature is reclaiming its rights for about 300 m. Perhaps the original trail continues to the Sûhet bridge (4)? There is nothing on the various maps. In any case, at the Sûhet bridge, there is a trail that runs alongside the stream. To be verified, we are calling on any hikers passing by who feel like exploring.
(6) Difficult descent: short but steep and slippery in wet weather.
(8) Difficult climb: short but steep and slippery in wet weather.
(11) If you have never seen the confluence, walk a few hundred metres north and then retrace your steps to return to the main route.
