Start from the town hall car park at the foot of the church in Aubigny-au-Bac.
(S/E) Head east and walk away from the church along Rue Jean-Simon Dumont, crossing Rue Charles Bayen on the left.
(1) At the next junction, turn right onto Rue Léo Lagrange. Pass a campsite on your left.
(2) Shortly afterwards, turn left onto Digue Charles Delepierre. After a good hundred metres, follow the Canal de la Sensée on your right. Continue straight ahead along the canal for about 2 km.
(3) At the first huts surrounding the Marais du Bac, take the path on your left and go round the marsh on the left.
(4) Cross Route de Fressies and take Route du Marais, veering slightly to the left. Follow the Sensée on your left and Les Hollandes on your right.
(5) After about 1 km, turn left onto Rue Volckcrick. Cross the D140 and first turn right then left to follow Rue Pierre Bochu for about 100 metres.
(6) Turn left into Rue Maurice Façon. Ignore another road on the right, continue on the tarmac and soon carry on along a field path (due west). After a left-hand bend in the path, you will reach a junction near the D148.
(7) Turn right here and stay parallel to the road. After about 250 m, rejoin the road and follow it westwards: watch out for traffic, please be careful.
(8) After about 500 m along the road, take thefirst path on the right (due north).
(9) At the T-junction, turn left.
(10) At the end of the path, you’ll come out onto the D140; follow it to the left to enter Aubigny-au-Bac. At the junction, take thesecond left, Rue Jean-Baptiste Gay. You’ll come out onto Rue Calmette; follow it straight on.
(1) At the next junction, turn right and you will soon reach the church (S/E).
