Around Épinoy

Park in front of the church.

(S/E) Stand with your back to the church, at the intersection of Rue de la Mairie, then turn right. Take the second street on the left (Rue Verte), passing in front of the town hall.

(1) Turn left again onto Rue du Vieux Chemin de Cambrai. At the next crossroads, continue straight ahead, leaving the Vieux Chemin de Cambrai on your left. At the crossroads, take the path on the right.

(2) At the crossroads with Rue d'Haynecourt, continue straight ahead following the road. At the next crossroads, continue straight ahead again. At the crossroads with the D21E1, cross over and continue straight ahead, then go straight ahead at the next crossroads.

(3) At the crossroads, turn left. At the intersection, turn left first, then immediately right, ignoring the small path on your left.

(4) At the Argilière junction, turn left. At the next crossroads, turn right. At the junction with Rue Gueulette in Sauchy-Lestrée (D15), make a first turn right then left to cross this departmental road with caution and turn into Rue Nagot. Pass the church and, at the next crossroads, continue straight on Rue du Cure.

(5) At the intersection with Rue du Brûle, turn left. At the end of this road, turn left onto Rue de la Cauchy (Sauchy-Cauchy). Follow this street to the Canal du Nord.

(6) Turn right onto Chemin de Baralle, follow the canal, then keep right to reach Pont Brichembaut.

(7)Turn right andthen take the second path on the right. At the intersection of Rue Alfred Caudrelier in Oisy-le-Verger, turn left.

(8) At the bend in Rue Désiré Catillon, keep left and take the footpath to Rue Charles Jacobs.

(9) At the intersection with Rue Charles Canivet, turn left. Immediately and carefully, turn right onto Rue Henri Deloffre. Then take the second street on the right, Place de l'Église. Walk along the church and turn left onto Place du Général Desailly.

(10) At the corner of Rue Louis Gilleron, turn right, then right again onto Rue Léon Frénois.

(11) In front of Place André Serrure, turn left onto Rue des Frères Fontaine. Take the^first right, then left. At the crossroads, turn right and then left onto Rue Joseph Foulon.

(12) At the junction with Rue Gustave Boudart, turn left and take the path. At the three-way junction, turn right and follow the path to the end.

(13) At the Chemin des Postes junction, turn right and ignore the fork on the right to reach the D21 crossroads.

(14) Turn left and follow this departmental road, staying on the hard shoulder. Continue to the first path on the left. Turn left and follow the path. Then continue on the right, ignoring the path on your left. Continue straight ahead on the main path.

(15) Take the small path on the left that turns at a right angle. At the intersection with Rue du Presbytère in Épinoy, turn left, then right again onto Rue de Fressies and arrive at the car park in front of the church ( S/E).

The route is easy but not signposted. The terrain is earth, grass, cobblestones, pebbles and tarmac. Wear suitable footwear.
