Starting point: Flize church and town hall. Parking available on Rue de la Glacière near the church.
(S/E) With your back to the church, head left towards Dom-le-Mesnil. Take the first alley on the right (Ruelle Madron) to reach Chemin de Feuchères. Head up to the right until you reach the water tower.
(1) Head up to the left until you reach the fork near the telecoms mast and go down to the left. The path runs along the edge of the pastures and joins the entrance to Dom-le-Mesnil. Continue through the residential area, passing a wash house, until you reach a crossroads.
(3) Head up to the right and turn left at the next fork. At the top of the climb, veer right and reach the edge of the forest.
(4) Head up to the right to the Côte de Dom viewpoint.
(5) Continue along the top of the hill, ignoring the first path on the left and turning left at the second path. After skirting a cultivated area, the path descends and reaches a crossroads.
(6) Turn right, walk a few hundred metres before finding, on the right, a small path leading to the Flize Charlemagne artillery bunker of the Maginot Line.
(7) Return to the main path and head down to the right to reach the crossroads by the water tower you passed on the way out.
(1) Turn left onto a grassy path, pass under a power line and reach Boutancourt. Turn right until you reach the first path on the right, the Chemin Noir.
(8) Take this path, which, with no significant change in elevation, leads to Flize via the Cités de Soissons and Verdun.
Continue in the same direction to reach the D864 (Rue de Sedan). Turn right to return to the church (S/E).
