Description of the walk

Park in the Manse Abbatiale car park.

(S/E) On the D33, turn left, pass the Manse Abbatiale and find a track on the right, in front of the masonry firm.
Follow the track uphill through the woods to a Y-junction.

(1) Stay on the left-hand branch. Cross a large clearing. Head down to the road, then take a sharp left-hand hairpin bend. Look for a path branching off to the right, marked in yellow.

(2) Follow this Discovery Trail downhill. Walk to Saint-Roger Chapel.

(3) Explore the chapel, then leave the marked path and continue along the edge of the woods. Further on, the track runs between the woods and the pond. You’ll reach the north-east corner of the pond.

(4) Continue along the track. Cross the Ruisseau de l’Élan, then join the tarmac road on the Chemin de Vendresse. Carry on to reach the Manse Abbatiale car park (S/E).

First hike using the app’s trial version – a very pleasant walk
I couldn’t find point 2, but thanks to the map I was able to take a different route to reach my point 3. The track allowed me to check my route
