Departure from the central square in Laguépie.
(S/E) Head towards the town hall and cross the bridge over the Aveyron.
(1) Turn left immediately after the bridge: there are numerousPR® trailheads, and pass under the bridge. Continue on theGR® 36, which, on this section, is part of the route linking the Chemin du Puy en Velay de Saint Jacques de Compostelle and the Chemin d'Arles à Toulouse. The path follows the Aveyron.
(2) After the bridge over the Ruisseau de Téoulière, turn left and take a path that climbs before the house (yellow markings).
(3) At the Basserie farm, follow the tarmac road to the left. Continue and leave the hamlet of La Rainie on your left, continuing straight ahead.
(4) When you reach a green transformer and a rubbish bin, turn left.
(5) After the hamlet of La Roquette, follow the road to the right.
(6) Turn right onto the D106 bis and follow it for about 270 metres. Caution: busy road. After about 250 metres, turn left onto a small tarmac road (yellow markings).
(7) At Les Salessous, take the path on the left and begin the descent towards Laguépie.
(8) At a fork in the road, take the road that descends to the right. At the next intersection, turn left onto the road, continuing downhill.
(9) After the hilltop lake, turn left onto the D106 bis.
(10) Descend to the right towards Laguépie. Caution: narrow section for pedestrians.
(1) Cross the bridge over the Aveyron in the opposite direction to the start.
(S/E) Return to the central square.
