Park in the Mas de Pommet car park.
(S/E) Take the path that climbs to the left towards the Cabane du Garde, which is theGR®6marked in red and white. Continue to a crossroads near the Gaudre des Traversières stream.
(1) Stay on this path until you reach the Cabane du Garde and 100m after that, join the three-way junction.
(2) Turn left and continue straight ahead, staying on theGR®6until the next major intersection.
(3) Turn 90° to the right to quickly reach a new crossroads.
(4) Stay on the right-hand path, which is still theGR®6shared with theGR®653D, until the next triangular intersection and continue on theGR®6slightly to the left, passing in front of the cistern until the intersection.
(5) Turn left until the next intersection, which curves, and turn right. Continue on theGR®6, leaving theGR®653Dhere, and go straight ahead, ignoring all paths that branch off to the left and right, until you reach cistern no. 189.
(6) Stay on theGR®6until the next major intersection (barrier) and take the paved road (D27) straight ahead until the next trail that branches off to your right (barrier).
(7) Go through the barrier and continue south to enjoy beautiful views of the Alpilles on your right and Les Baux de Provence on your left along this path.
(8) Continue on the same route to return to the previous crossroads.
(7) Take the small paved road that descends to your left, stay on this road for about 800 metres and take the forest road that climbs uphill until you reach the AL105 marker.
(9) Take the forest road that climbs uphill, which is closed to traffic by a barrier. Stay on this road until you reach theGR®6crossroads.
(5) Turn left onto theGR® and continue to the large intersection (yellow direction signs) that you also passed on the way there.
(4) Leave theGR® and continue left, taking the path that climbs and runs alongside barbed wire fences. Stay on this path, which alternates between ascents and descents (some steeper than others), until you reach the cairn.
(10) At the cairn, turn right through the small pine forest to join a path (PR® yellow markings) and continue straight ahead to cistern no. 157. At the cistern, turn right and stay on this path, which ends at a gate, to rejoin theGR®6.
(1) Turn left onto theGR®6(taken on the way there) which leads to the starting point (car park) along the Camargue bull enclosures (S/E).
