Pleasant hike during the week, so no cycling.

There were a lot of trailers and cyclists in certain places that day, but that in no way detracted from the interest of the walk. There are passages through some magnificent places that are well worth the ride on their own.

Nice circuit
At point 1, exit Dambach and go straight ahead along the signposted path towards Hohenfels castle.
Otherwise the directions are good.
The knacks at the Club Vosgien chalet gave us strength to continue towards the tower.!!!!

A wonderful walk in superb surroundings on a warm, sunny day.
Just a little problem with orientation between (1) and (2), on the outskirts of Dambach: the forestry machinery had completely destroyed the paths, making it difficult to find our way back to (2), so we cut across the climb through the woods. As a result, we passed the Hohenfels castle without even seeing it...
The positive changes in altitude are hardly noticeable, which makes this route very enjoyable.
And the icing on the cake is the Club Vosgien Relais at the Col de la Liese (8), where you can relax, eat and drink a nice cold beer that's not expensive at all
Thanks for sharing.

It was a beautiful, almost spring-like day, and a nice, quiet way to get back into the swing of things. We enjoyed the moderate difficulty of the climb and the almost relaxing stroll across the rest of the plateau.

Great views towards the neighbouring département and Dambach.

We didn't climb the Grand Wintersberg, so we don't know if we should have.

A lovely route, the main attraction of which is of course the Grand Wintersberg. Unfortunately, the Celtic Camp has been ravaged by falling trees, so there's not much to see there.
