Park in the car park, Place de la Mairie, in front of the church.
(S/E) Exit the car park to the right, with your back to the town hall. Take the first road on the right, the Route du Moulin de Cabalé, for 120 metres, then turn left to climb the Côte de Saint-Arnaud Nord. At the end of the tarmac road, continue uphill through the woods on the stony path. On leaving the woods, continue between a hedge and a field until you reach the houses at Perry.
(1) Perry hamlet: take the path running alongside the houses on the right-hand side and follow the yellow and orange markings to the hamlet of Brescou.
(2) When you reach the road at the hamlet of Brescou, turn right then left along a farm building, following the yellow and orange signposts. Continue to the Route de Saint-Pierre-la-Feuille, which you should take to the right, following the yellow and orange signposts.
(3) At the three-way junction, turn left to the Pont du Moulin de Cabalé. Cross the bridge, turn left onto the Route de Caballé, in the commune of White Cross, for 50 metres, then turn onto the path leading uphill to the right, marked with a yellow line and an orange cross. Pass in front of the house at number 1470 in the hamlet of Fontane Bas.
(4) Caution! One hundred and fifty metres after Fontane Bas, on the climb, before a telephone pole marked with a yellow line, take a sharp right onto a grassy path which becomes stony and is barely visible at first. Descend to the road and turn left towards the Pont de Peyret.
(5) Cross the bridge over the Masse and continue along the road towards Baysset. Near the top of the hill, in front of the house at number 530, take the stony path leading down to the right, marked by a wooden sign saying “Chemin des biches”. At the bottom of the descent, turn left, following the yellow markings. Pass the Molière wash house (wooden sign) and continue to the road, turning right. Pass house number 959 and continue along the Route de Sabaté, which descends towards the lake.
(6) There is a shortcut to the village via the path leading down opposite the road. Otherwise, follow the road as it bends to the left. When you reach the Stop sign on the Route du Lac, cross the road and head down towards the path.
(7) Take the path to the left to walk around the lake to the dam.
(8) Take the footpath (sign prohibiting motorised vehicles and horses). Pass under the viaduct of the Agen–Périgueux railway line, then cross an aluminium bridge; continue along the River Masse to the sports grounds, then go round the church to reach the Place de la Mairie (S/E).
