Park in the car park in front of the Saint-Ferréol Leisure Centre.
(S/E) With your back to the leisure centre, head left and follow the pavement to the junction with Route de la Frégate.
(1) Turn left and walk along the road for about 200 metres: take care on this section of the route. Take the dirt track on the left. Go straight on at the junction with Chemin Sainte-Rose, then turn right at a 90° angle along the track to pass behind some old houses and arrive in the hamlet of La Frégate.
(2) Where the dirt track joins the road, turn right and follow the road to the junction with the Route de la Frégate. Turn left at the junction, then walk down the road for 150 m: take care on this road.
(3) After the sharp bend, take a small path on the left which leads down through some wasteland and joins the Chemin de Bourbon.
(4) Turn right onto this track and carry on until you rejoin Route de la Frégate. Turn right, then keep left at the three-way junction that appears just after to follow Chemin de Tachery. At the junction, carry on to the right along a path that climbs up onto the plateau and continues as a dirt track. Make sure you keep heading in the same direction.
(5) Before reaching the road, at the EDF pole, turn left onto the path which descends into the Cambillou estate through a pretty little valley. Join the tarmac road, take Rue des Glaïeuls by turning left, then Rue des Dahlias until you reach Avenue de Cahors.
(6) Turn right and keep well to the kerb, walking in single file. This road is very busy. After about 50 metres, turn right onto Impasse de Cambillou, then turn left onto Rue de Ferrande and follow it to the end. When you reach a level crossing, take the path that leads through the woods to a few steps, which will take you to Rue Chopin.
(7) Continue straight on along this street until you reach a path on the right leading to a hamlet (blue signposting).
(8) Turn right onto this signposted path, which forms part of a walking route. Follow this path uphill through a meadow and then a woodland.
(9) The roughly gravelled path continues to the right and leads back towards the Darel Pony Club.
(10) To avoid walking on the road, follow a parallel path alongside it by turning left. Continue until you reach the water tower opposite the entrance to the Pony Club.
(11) Opposite the water tower, cross the road with great care and take the dirt track opposite leading to Marcettou.
(12) Turn right and continue along the path until you reach the Route de Saint-Ferréol.
(13) Turn right onto the footpath that runs alongside the road to return to the leisure centre (S/E).
