Description of the route

Depart from the car park of the Pavé restaurant in Sars-Poteries.

(S) Turn left onto the main road and head towards Le Musverre. Take the opportunity to visit the museum, which has been awarded the "Accueil Vélo" label, and marvel at contemporary and traditional glass art.
When you leave Musverre, continue to the left.

(1) At the roundabout, turn left towards "Le Stade" on Rue du Cheval Blanc. Continue straight ahead and then turn right at the intersection onto Rue du Général Leclerc. Join the EuroVélo3.

(2) Follow the cycle path on the left. Pass Dimont and reach Rue du Stordoir (D155).

(3) Leave EuroVélo3 and follow Rue du Stordoir to the left. Go uphill towards the centre of Wattignies-la-Victoire. Pass the church and reach the three-way junction that follows.

(4) Turn left onto Rue du Planty towards Floursies, then continue straight on Rue Jourdan (D155).

(5) In the right-hand bend, turn left towards Floursies. Cross the fields, woods and meadows to reach Floursies. Note the Tours de main pottery workshop and craft shop.

(6) At the church, turn left onto Rue du Moulin.

(7) Cross the Tarsy or Tarsies (river) and continue along this street, then follow Route de Floursies to Dourlers.

(8) At the "give way" sign, turn right onto Route de Sars-Poteries (D33). At the stop sign, continue straight ahead towards Aulnoye Aymeries and cross the RN2. Caution! This is a dangerous junction. Continue straight ahead on Rue d'Arouzies. Go through the village of Dourlers and continue straight ahead on Rue La Haut. You will reach the start of Rue de Saint-Aubin on the left.

(9) Turn left onto this road and continue straight ahead.

(10) At the stop sign, turn left, then right at the next crossroads towards Dompierre-sur-Helpe, Rue d'en Haut, then Route de Saint-Rémy.

(11) At the intersection, turn right towards the woods, Rue de Saint-Aubin.
When you leave the woods, continue along Rue de Saint-Aubin.

(12) At the intersection, turn left onto Rue Margot. Ignore Rue de l'Église on the right, then turn right onto Ruelle à Fromages to arrive opposite Route d'Avesnes.

(13) Turn right, then take the first left onto Rue de Verdun. Continue along this road until you reach the car park at Place de Monceau-Saint-Waast (E).
