Description of the route

Depart from the car park at Liessies Abbey.

(S/E) Leave the car park, follow Rue de l'Abbaye to the left and pass in front of the parish church.

(1) At the stop sign at the corner of the church, turn right onto Rue Roger Salengro (D963).

(2) After the cemetery, carefully turn left at the bend. Follow Chemin de la Perrière until you reach the intersection with the EuroVélo3 greenway.

(3) Take EuroVélo3 on the left, towards Glageon. Stay on this path, cross the D133 and leave Château de la Motte on your left.

(4) Ride alongside the Grand Étang and continue on the EV3 through the Forêt de l'Abbé. Further on, leave the forest and pass close to the hamlet of La Sèche Cense.

(5) Leave the EV3 at Trélon (old station repainted in white and grey) and turn left onto Avenue Léo Lagrange.

(6) At the stop sign, continue left onto Rue Georges Clemenceau (D 951) and head towards the entrance to Trélon.

(7) A few metres after the gendarmerie, turn left towards Liessies, Rue de Verdun (D963). Continue for about 100 metres, turn left and head for the Château de Trélon (which you can visit).

(8) Return to Rue de Verdun and follow it to the left. At the three-way junction that follows, turn right towards the Glass Museum, Rue Clavon Collignon.

(9) At the end of the street, take a first turn right then left onto Rue Victor Hugo. Take thefirst right onto Rue Delval.

(10) At the roundabout, turn left onto Rue Émile Zola. Pass the calvary and continue to a three-way junction.

(11) Continue left towards an organic orchard, then straight ahead onto Rue du Gros Tilleul.

(12) At the Carrefour du Cheval Blanc stop sign, cross the D 963 with caution and continue straight ahead on Rue des Taillettes. At the crossroads, turn left and head towards the village of Les Trieux.

(13) Turn left, still on Rue des Taillettes. At the roundabout, continue straight ahead on Rue Neuve.

(14) At the triangular crossroads, turn left onto Rue de l'Alouette.

(15) At the stop sign, turn left towards Ohain-centre.

(16) At the "give way" sign in the village centre, turn right and pass in front of the church. Continue straight on along the D963. At the waste collection centre, turn left towards the Brasserie de Thiérache.

(17) Return to Ohain church.

(16) Then turn left onto Rue Charles Hanoteau.

(15) At the crossroads, turn right onto Rue de l'Alouette.

(14) At the triangular crossroads, turn left onto Rue de Melsart. At the fork, turn right onto Chemin du Pont Baudet and arrive at the Boréal pond to spend the night (E).
