Starting point: Moringhem, car park at the community hall.
(S/E) Head south on the D207 for about 300 metres.
(1) Take the path on the left towards the old mill. At the T-junction, turn right towards Barbinghem and, just before joining the D207, take the path on the left. Ignore the path coming from the right.
(2) At the three-way junction, take the path on the left and continue to a T-junction (marker 62). Turn right to reach the edge of Bois Marcotte.
(3) At the three-way junction, take the track on the right, cross the woodland and, heading south-east, reach the D204 near Cormette. Continue straight ahead, pass the church and reach a T-junction.
Note: at the junction with the D204, you can turn right to find, immediately on the left, a small track (not always clearly marked) leading to the Chemin de la Vallée, which you follow to the right.
(4) Turn right towards Zudausques and follow the Chemin de la Vallée, which joins the D206 at Zudausques. Take the road straight ahead towards the housing estate.
(5) Immediately turn right onto a footpath that runs alongside the town and leads close to the church, then continue straight on along Rue de la Mairie, passing to the right of the church and in front of the school until you reach a junction.
(6) Turn left, then left again (Rue de la Taillette). You’ll find a lovely path that takes you back up onto the plateau (elevation 104).
(7) At the crossroads, take a good farm track straight ahead for 1.5 km. As you approach Leulinghem, keep right until you reach a junction with the D208. Continue straight ahead to reach the centre of Leulinghem.
(8) At the church, turn right (Chemin Charrette), go under the A26, ignore two paths coming from the left and reach a T-junction.
(9) Take the D207 on the right towards Quelmes, then turn right again.
(10) 200 metres further on, don’t miss the lovely little path on the left which leads to the village centre. At the T-junction, turn left towards the church. There you’ll find the café “Chez Brigitte”, where you can leave your bags and have a bite to eat (a warm welcome).
(11) At the next junction with the D207, take the path opposite (slightly to the left). Ignore the path coming from the left, and at the T-junction, turn right to join the D208. Follow it to the left. Ignore a turn-off to the right (Vernove) and take the second one 200 metres further on.
(12) Take this road, pass Inglebert Farm and head up to Zutove (junction).
(13) Take the track on the right and, further on, follow the track to a T-junction.
(14) Take the track on the left to join the D206.
(15) Follow it for a few metres to the left, then turn onto the first track on the right towards the A26. Before reaching it, turn left.
(16) At the T-junction, head right, cross the A26 and continue to Moringhem (S/E).
