Park in the small car park at Place René Simard, in Les Petits Robins.
(S/E) Join the D 215, head north-east and turn left onto Chemin du Lac.
(1) Take this road and continue to the dyke.
(2) Turn left and follow the dyke to Route de Livron, at the end of Chemin de Ten Té Be.
(3) Take the road on the right, then turn left onto Via Rhona, taking care to pass on the left when the road forks.
(4) Cross the Petit Rhône.
(5) Cross the footbridge over the Drôme river and continue to the right. After a few metres, take the hairpin bend to stay on the EV17 until you reach a three-way junction.
(6) Keep to the left track and do not go up to the car park.
(7) Cross the D104 (Route de Loriol) using the protected crossing, then turn right towards Le Pouzin. Stay on the cycle path to remain on the safe part of the bridge. The passage is narrow, so stay alert!
(8) At the end of the bridge, stay on the cycle path by remaining on the metal footbridge, then pass under the railway bridge and immediately turn left to quickly reach the D86.
(9) Cross it and go straight ahead onto Rue des Écoles. Continue between the two schools and turn left. Go through the hairpin bends, then cross the footbridge over the Ouvèze river and take Rue Victor Hugo opposite, after first turn right then left.
(10) Go around the car park on the right, then continue along Rue Victor Hugo.
(11) At Montée es Grads, at the corner of the gendarmerie, continue on the cycle path, as indicated on the sign, until you reach a roundabout.
(12) Take Rue René Cassin opposite, then, after passing behind the supermarket, keep to the right until you reach the start of the Voie Douce de la Payre, Impasse Peyrusse.
(13) Take this path, indicated by a green sign, and follow this old railway line for 20 km.
(14) Cross the Alissas viaduct and reach the roundabout at the entrance to Privas.
(15) Go around it on the right and continue on the Voie Douce de la Payre.
(16) At the cycle path junction, continue straight ahead, cross the bridge over the Ouvèze river and continue to the end of Chemin de la Tour.
(17) Turn left, then right to use the protected crossing to continue on the Voie Douce de la Payre cycle path opposite, arriving at a motorhome car park.
(18) Go around it on the left, then turn right onto Avenue des Champs Alizés. At the roundabout a little further on, take the hill, which is a no-entry road except for bicycles.
(19) At the crossroads, turn right onto Avenue de la Gare, then Rue Croix du Roure, which runs alongside a car park on the left. At the end, first turn right then left onto Rue de l'Église, towards the Conservatoire. Reach the imposing Saint-Thomas Church and walk around it to admire the magnificent trompe-l'œil.
(20) After enjoying the site, return to the crossroads at the Voulte-sur-Rhône bridge.
(3) Take Route de Livron on the right and continue straight ahead until you reach the roundabout.
(21) Take the third exit, Route des Petits Robins, and you will reach the church.
(22) Turn right onto Rue de la Confluence, then left onto Passage de la Confluence, and arrive at Place René Simard (S/E).
