From the Anaïs to the Loisance

Park near the D155, along the (dead-end) road in front of the Beucherais lodge (grey-blue shutters).

(S/E) Head towards the departmental road, cross it and carry on straight ahead.
Carry on along this road until you reach the crossroads. Turn right towards La Doubaie.
After the buildings on the left, turn onto the track on the left.
Carry on along the track, heading south.
After a bend to the right, the track joins the Voie Verte.

(1) Turn left and follow the Voie Verte. This runs more or less alongside the Douétel for over a kilometre.

(2) Turn left towards the houses. Continue to the right along the road, then turn left at the junction.
Cross the road and continue straight ahead onto the footpath. After several bends, this path leads onto a road.

(3) Follow this road to the right for about a hundred metres, then turn right onto a track. Continue to the right until you reach a small pond. Turn left and then left again after 100 metres. You’ll rejoin the road you left earlier.

(4) Turn right towards the departmental road. Cross it carefully and continue straight ahead to rejoin the^GR®34.

Carry on straight ahead, heading north then north-east, until you reach the end of the road.

(5) Turn left onto the path just after a wider track. It will veer westwards and then north-westwards.
Turn right and follow it as it follows a circular route back to the left. The path runs alongside the Loisance river as far as Moulin Neuf. You’ll reach the D97.

(6) Cross the D97 and turn left onto the path that runs alongside it, taking a sharp bend to the right.
When you reach the highest point, turn right onto a stony track. After 100 metres, follow the path on the left which runs alongside the road. It will veer to the left as you approach a house.
Follow it to the hamlet of La Chattière and turn left.

No further signposting

The^GR® heads off to the right; continue straight on.

(7) Take the path on the right which, descending gently, joins the Greenway.
Follow the Voie Verte to the left. You’ll reach the station buildings, where an old factory chimney stands.
Follow the road to the left, then round a hairpin bend to the right and a curve to the left.
Carry on until you reach a junction on the left.

(8) Cross the road and turn right onto the path running alongside it at a higher level.
Follow it round a first bend to the left – it runs alongside the main road – then round a second bend to the left.
You’ll come to the end of a road; take the one on the right. This is the ‘dead-end’ road leading to La Beucheraie (S/E).
