Circular walk between Feucherolles and Saint-Germain-de-la-Grange

Start from the car park on Rue Bernard Deniau in Feucherolles. For access by train, see the practical information.

(S/E) Heading north, take the shaded path. At the end, turn left onto the street. At the end of the street, turn right. Stay on the tarmac.

(1) Cross the D30 with care. After the mobile phone mast, turn left. Continue straight ahead into the woods. Then take the first path on the right and walk past the stables.

(2) Follow the^GR®1to the left (red and white markings). Cross the D307 with care and follow the C4 local road. Stay on the tarmac. In Davron, go to the end of Rue de Bullion.

(3) Turn right and ignore the ‘no entry’ sign. Head straight up the hill after the church, pass the cemetery and you’ll come to a crossroads.

(4) Turn left. Continue in this direction for about 2 km.

(5) Go past the metal barrier. When the road bends to the right, go down the steps on the left and continue along the Grande Rue until you reach the church.

(6) At the roundabout, keep left. Do the same at the cross. Ignore the dead-end road and go past the cemetery.

(7) Cross the D119 carefully, keeping to the left of the roundabout. Leave the tarmac and follow the track to the left. Turn right onto the first track. Follow the fence on your right.

(8) At the road, turn right to follow as closely as possible alongside the future golf course. Cross the Ru Maldroit then keep to the right. Cross the railway line.

(9) If the roadworks are complete:
- at the roundabout, cross the railway line again. Cross the road and continue along the track.
Otherwise:
- head straight ahead into Rue de la Vallée Yart. Pass Rue du Bois Malhais on your left. Go under the railway line. At the junction, turn left. Leave the tarmac at the next junction by turning right onto the path.

(10) At the junction, leave the^GR®1by turning left. Carry straight on until you reach the road. Cross the road and continue straight ahead through the fields. At the next junction, turn left.

(11) At the road, head straight on into Rue Marcel Decarris. Keep to the right further on. Take the first exit at the roundabout. At the stop sign, turn left towards another roundabout.

(12) Pass under the railway bridge. Continue straight on along the left-hand pavement until just past the Plaisir exit.

(13) At the roundabout, carry on straight ahead along the tarmac path running alongside the D109. Go round the next roundabout (marker 127) on the left to cross the D119 and then the D109 at the pedestrian crossings. Then take the small road towards the Grignon experimental farm.

(14) Pass the farm entrance and walk alongside the buildings on your right. Continue eastwards along a path between the fields until you reach the D30.

(15) Cross carefully and head straight on towards the aerodrome. About 600 m further on, turn left. Ignore a path on the right. As you approach the village, let a path branch off to the left.

(16) At the bottom of the descent, turn right onto Rue de Beynes. At the end of the street, continue straight ahead. Ignore Allée de la Pâture.

(17) Cross the Ru de Gally then turn left at a junction. At the next junction, carry straight on then head up to the right.

(18) After the church, pass to the left of the washhouse. Take the steps on the left. Leave the Chemin du Bois behind. After the car park, take the small lane opposite. Ignore a path on the left. At the bottom of the steps, go straight on into the Chemin des Écoliers. At the end, turn right. Go straight on at the roundabout.

(19) Pass the cemetery on your left. Cross the car park. Stay on the tarmac. Cross the D307 carefully to follow the dead-end road towards the golf course.

(20) Walk alongside the golf course. When the road bends to the right, turn left. At the next junction, take the second right. Turn left into the woods. To leave the housing estate, keep to the left. At the junction, follow Rue de Poissy to the left. Change pavements at the pedestrian crossing. Continue straight ahead, passing to the right of the Joe Dassin square to reach the car park (S/E).

Access to the walk:
- By car: park in the car park on Rue Bernard Deniau behind the Espace Joe Dassin. Please note that this car park has limited capacity; if it is full, look for a parking space in the neighbouring streets.
- By train: Plaisir Grignon station, Transilien line N (Paris Montparnasse network). For timetables, visit the Transilien website. Take the main exit, on the side of platform 1 (towards Plaisir from Paris). On leaving the station, turn right and walk down to the roundabout (12) to start the walk.

(2) The walk: The circular route from Parc de la Bruneterie to the Marly Forest passes this point and follows the^GR®1from Orgeval to the Marly Forest.
