Departure from the car park at Place du Château in Aigremont.
(S/E) Go to the back of the car park and climb up into the forest via the flight of steps on the left. Climb briefly up a steep path and, at the T-junction, turn right.
(1) At the next crossroads, turn right onto a path alongside a wire fence. Ignore the path on the left. At the T-junction (elevation 153), take the path on the left.
(2) Just before reaching the D30, follow the wide path on the left to a crossroads where there is a sign saying 'Partageons nos espaces naturels' (Let's share our natural spaces). Take the first path on the right heading south-west; thefirst path on the right on the map, heading west, does not exist.
(3) At the T-junction, turn left. At the fork, take the path on the right. After about 100 metres, turn left. Continue along the path that winds along the edge of the slope. Ignore the paths on the left and right. Note the beautiful view of the ponds at Joyenval golf course. The path eventually descends along a wire fence towards a road.
(4) Cross Allée Frédéric Passy to take the path opposite (yellow markings). Walk along the Joyenval golf course on your right, then along the Ru de Buzot. Find a small road and follow it as it continues. At the next intersection (barrier on the right), go straight ahead and continue along the stream on Chemin de la Tuilerie in Fourqueux.
(5) At the next intersection, continue straight ahead with aGRP® (red and yellow markings). After a bench, turn left, cross the stream and take a concrete path uphill. At the end, first turn left then right to follow Rue de Montaigu.
(6) Take thefirst left, the Sente des Acacias, and go uphill. At the top, turn left. After about 150 metres, take the Sente du Cimetière on the right.
(7) At the end, before the school, take a path on the left (yellow markings) leaving the GRP®. At the end, first turn left then right and take the Sente du Bois Barbeau. Ignore a path coming from the left and continue to a street.
(8) Follow the street to the right. At the immediate crossroads, turn left onto Chemin des Alluets. At the next crossroads, continue straight ahead on a path that enters the forest and leave the yellow markings on the left.
(9) After about 300 m, take a path on the right that quickly branches off to the left. At the next crossroads, go straight ahead.
(10) At the T-junction (the path opposite does not exist), turn right and go downhill.
(1) At the junction you took on the way out, continue straight ahead. You will come out onto Grande Rue; follow it to the left. After about 50 metres, you will find the car park where you started on your left (S/E).
