Starting point and access: Faremoutiers-Pommeuse station.
- Transilien - Line P, on the section between Paris-Est and Coulommiers.
Take the only exit on the only platform.
No signposts
(S) When you leave the station, turn left and cross the car park. Turn left again to cross the railway line at the level crossing. Cross the D25 at the pedestrian crossing and follow it to the left and downhill towards Meaux. Cross Rue du Stade on the right and continue straight ahead towards Promenade du Grand Morin.
Yellow signposts (rare)
(1) At the bus stop, turn right onto Promenade du Grand Morin (do not cross the river). Go through a gate and stay on a gravel path with the river on your left. At a fork, take the footbridge on the left over the Aubetin. At the fork immediately after, turn left and stay as close as possible to the Grand Morin, on a path that becomes narrower. Go through a gate and you will come to the D216.

(2) Follow the road to the left and take the bridge over the Grand Morin. Cross Rue des Nouettes on the left.

At the next intersection, take thesecond left, Allée Jeanne d'Arc. Go up a stony path that quickly becomes grassy and ends between garden fences.
(3) You will come to a small road; follow it to the left (ignore the arrow to the right; twoPR® trails separate here). At the stop sign, continue straight ahead onto Rue de la Vigne des Dames. At number 14, follow a grassy path between two fences to the left. Turn right onto the path, which becomes gravel, then left onto the tarmac.
(4) At the end of the lane, turn right twice to follow Rue du Pressoir. When the street turns left, continue straight ahead on a path closed to motor vehicles and go uphill. Walk along an orchard on your left, then cross a small wood. Come out onto a narrow road and follow it to the left. Further on, enter the village of Le Charnois via Rue des Bleuets.
(5) At the crossroads, turn left. At the stop sign, continue straight ahead on Rue du Pâtis. Turn right at the corner of this street, at an old wash house. At the stop sign, turn left onto Rue des Vieilles Vignes. Stay on this small road and you will soon see an old dovecote at the foot of a water tower.

(6) Just before No. 27, leave the road, turn left, go through a chicane and down a grassy path.

Shortly afterwards, join another path and follow it to the left and downhill. At the T-junction, return to the tarmac road, turn right and immediately turn right into Rue du Rôty.

(7) At the stop sign, cross the D25 and follow it to the left and downhill (be careful, narrow shoulder).

Just before a proper pavement along the D25, take a path on the right. Walk past a few houses on your left, then a field on your right. Continue along a path between garden fences. You will end up on a gravel path which leads to a tarmac road (Rue du Bois on the map).

(8) Then turn left and go downhill. Cross Rue des Iris on the left and continue straight ahead on Rue du Bois.

Turn right shortly afterwards with the street (ignore a sign on the left inviting you to go down a path). At the end of the tarmac, continue along a path that enters a wood. Further on, ignore a turn-off on the left and note an old wash house below on the left. Further on, cross a small road and follow the Sente de la Croix Saint-Blandin opposite, slightly to the right. After the last house, continue along a track. Shortly afterwards, when the track turns right (not shown on the map), continue straight ahead down a grassy path.
(9) At the T-junction, turn left (ignore the yellow arrow pointing to the right, as twoPR® trails separate here). Ignore a path on the left and continue straight ahead on the tarmac road. At the stop sign, turn right and go downhill. At the bottom, cross the Grand Morin in three stages and note an old mill on the right, then another on the left. At the T-junction, turn left towards La Celle-sur-Morin. Just before a no overtaking sign, turn right into Rue des Roches.
(10) When you reach the church, turn right and go through a wooden barrier (ignore the yellow arrow pointing left, as twoPR® trails split here). Go up alongside a stream.
No signposts
At the top, take the tunnel that passes under the railway line (ignore the signposted path on the left). Note an old wash house on the left and climb up. You will come out onto Grande Rue and follow it to the right. Take thefirst left, Rue du Palais (dead end). Turn right with the street and, at the end of the tarmac, continue along a path. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead and follow a hedge and then a fence on your right. Continue west between the fields. Pass under a power line and you will immediately come to a T-junction.
(11) Then turn right and pass under the power line again. At the next crossroads (elevation 139), go straight ahead between the fields. Further on, start descending and rejoin the tarmac road. Ignore a street on the left and, just before No. 12, turn right. After No. 6, keep left and take a grassy path along a wall on the left. Continue on a path between meadows and woods. Along a wall on the left, keep left, come out onto a path and follow it to the left until you reach a small road.
(12) Then turn left then right to cross the road and go down a path-stepway. Come out onto another road, follow it to the right and take the bridge over the railway line. Shortly afterwards, turn left into a lane. At the end, turn left and immediately join the Guérard-La Celle-sur-Morin station (E).
