Starting point: Car park a few hundred metres from the Larchant cemetery, to the north, on the road to Villiez-sous-Grez.
Head into the forest, towards the west. After about 200 metres (1), turn left and you will quickly reach the Denecourt-Colinet trail no. 19, marked in blue. Turn left and follow the blue markings for about 1.5 km, heading south at first and then making a wide loop to the right until you reach theGR®13(2) (red and white markings).
Turn left onto the sharedGR®13/No. 19blue trail for about 200 metres. Then leave the blue markings (3) and follow theGR® markings, turning left. Follow theGR®13(red and white) for about 1 km.
At a crossroads (4), just before entering Larchant where the path becomes a paved road, take the dirt track on the left. At the end of the track, cross the road and take the dirt track opposite, which runs alongside the cemetery.
At a T-junction, turn left, then left again. Continue until you reach the road on the right and follow it for about 100 metres. When the road curves slightly to the left (5), take the path on the right. At the first fork, take the main path on the right. The path then splits; stay on the left-hand track. Continue until you reach Chemin de La-Chappelle-la-Reine in Nemours (6).
Take this path on the left, then the first path on the right, heading north-east. After less than a kilometre, join theGR®13(7). Turn left onto theGR®13, which climbs and winds through the rocks of the Massif de la Dame Jouanne. Join the blue-marked path no. 19 (8).
Follow the sharedGR®13/No. 19blue markings to the right, on the Chemin de La-Chapelle-la-Reine. Pass the Chalet Jobert. Cross the road coming from Larchant and continue straight ahead. After about 250 metres, turn sharply left. Leave the blue trail on your right and head south, still on the red and whiteGR® trail. After about 1 km, you will come to the blue trail marked 19 (9).
Turn left, ignoring a path on your right. At the next junction, leave the blue trail straight ahead and continue right on the GR®. At the next junction, turn left onto the path to La Chappelle-la-Reine in Larchant. After about 100 metres, turn right onto the path that leads to the Rocher de la Justice. Cross another path. At the next junction, turn left (still on theGR®). Make a loop south-west, south, south-east until you are near the Rocher de l'Eléphant. Turn left to return to the starting point.
