Car park with calvary at the exit of Saulon-la-Rue towards Dijon on the D996.
(S/E) Enter the woods and take the path that runs alongside the farm track to the north-east, then turn left at the end. Turn right when you reach the street.
(1) Go around Fenay Church, then turn left onto Chemin de la Chintre. Continue right towards the isolated tree until you reach the Y-junction.
(2) From there, keep right until you reach the poplar grove. Turn right; the path continues along a small street. Go to the stop sign and turn left. In the bend, keep left on the farm track. Continue along this track for about 1.8 km, then cross the road and continue to the storm basin and the small wind turbine. There, turn right towards the village.
(3) At the crossroads, turn right, pass in front of the village hall, then at the end turn left onto the D31 to the church.
(4) Head straight on towards Seurre until you reach the wash house.
(5) Turn right immediately after the wash house, cross the footbridge and then immediately turn right to walk along "la Sans Fond". Cross another footbridge and then go around the pond on the right. Continue along "la Sans Fond".
(6) Opposite the old mill, turn right onto the D31, then immediately left.
(7) After the silos, take the small path on the left, which leads into a wood along "la Sans Fond". Continue to the end of this path which runs alongside the river.
(8) Enter the woods via a small path that runs alongside "la Sans-Fond" and then immediately turn right onto a path.
(9) Then take the first path on the left, which will take you back to the car park, ending with a return trip to the castle (S/E).
