The start of this hike is at the car park of Longecourt-en-Plaine station.
(S/E) Opposite the calvary on the D25, take the white path that will lead you across fields to the Bois d'Aval. Follow the path to the railway line.
(1) Turn right onto the wide forest path that leads to Thorey-en-Plaine.
(2) Take Rue du Bois on your right until you reach the traffic lights on the D968.
(3) Turn right and continue for about 100 metres, then turn left onto the street leading to the Burgundy Canal.
(4) At the bridge, follow the canal on the right for about 800 metres until you reach a small wood.
(5) Turn right onto the path leading to a small pond and follow it on the right. Cross the D968 to rejoin the field path opposite, slightly to the left, and follow this path.
(6) When you reach the first farms in Longecourt-en-Plaine, turn right to arrive at the path you took on the way there, then turn left to return to the starting point (S/E).
