To get to the starting point: on the D122a, heading towards Longvic, shortly after the waste collection centre, enter the town of Longvic via Rue Jules Guesde. After the first crossroads, find a car park on the left, opposite the buildings.
(S/E) From the car park, take the white gravel path on the right-hand side of the car park to reach Chemin de la Place Royale and follow it to the left towards the Étang Royal.
(1) Facing the pond, ignore the path on the right and stay on the gravel path. Turn immediately left and walk along the pond in an anti-clockwise direction until you reach the River Ouche.
(2) Turn left and continue along the river until you reach a road.
(3) Cross the road and take the path opposite. After 200 m, ignore the path that branches off to the left and turn right to follow the Suzon stream, which flows into the Ouche. Continue to follow this river until you reach Rue du Général de Gaulle.
(4) At the crossroads, turn right, cross over the river and, after the bridge, turn left to continue following the Ouche, but on the other bank. Take the Chemin du Pré Saint-Jacques, walk along a pond on your right and, at the end of it, ignore the path that branches off to the right.
(5) Continue straight ahead, go through the barrier and arrive at a bridge.
(6) Cross this bridge, then take the first path on the left and follow the Ouche again until you reach the first fork in the road.
(7) Leave the riverbank and take the path on the right towards Crimolois until you reach the next path on the left.
(8) You can take a short detour through the plantations on the right.
Alternatively, turn left onto the grassy dirt track at the edge of the woods and follow it almost to the village. At the corner of the field, turn left into a small gap in the hedge, cross the ditch to join the dirt track and continue left along this track until you reach the road (Rue Léon Jouhaux).
(9) Turn right onto this street and continue for 100 metres, then look for a path on the left at the first bend.
(10) Turn left onto this dirt track and stay on it, keeping to the left until you reach the River Ouche. When you reach the River Ouche, turn right until you reach the fork you passed on the way there.
(4) When you reach the road, cross it and take the path opposite. After a few metres, leave this path and turn right onto a raised grassy path that runs alongside the village until you reach Rue de Gaudran.
(11) Then turn left towards the sports facilities. Cross them and, after the football pitches, turn left to rejoin the path to the left of the sports facility refreshment bar.
(12) At the barrier, continue to the right to rejoin the path along the banks of the Ouche. At this path, continue to the right and follow the banks of the Ouche to the Étang Royal, which you passed on the way there.
(2) Continue straight ahead along the Ourche to go around the Étang Royal clockwise.
(1) Turn left and, after 300 metres, take the path on the right to return to the car park (S/E).
