Starting point: Oderen Town Hall car park, Grand Rue.
(S/E) When you leave the car park, turn right onto Grand-Rue and walk up the street.
(1) At the crossroads, turn right onto Rue du Vontay. Pass the apple juice factory and distillery, then take the path marked with blue triangles that zigzags uphill.
(2) When you reach Uhufels, you can descend 50 metres to the left and back for a view and to better enjoy the landscape. Continue and pass the Pfaffenkopf.
(3) At the crossroads, take the path marked with a yellow triangle and red triangle on the right, then cross the passage through the pasture.
(4) Follow the path directly towards Gommkopf, not via the fountain.
(5) At the junction of marked trails, take the trail on the right that leads to Gommkopf.
(6) At the summit of Gommkopf, continue straight ahead facing the slope and find the path that descends to the left. At the bottom of this descent, at the crossroads, take the path marked with a red triangle that climbs to the right. Cross an unmarked forest path and continue climbing.
(7) At Abri du Treackerlé, continue straight ahead, following the red triangle markings on the marked trail and not the logging road.
(8) Near the marked trail, there is a monument at the site of the former military cemetery. Pass above the Amis de la Nature du Treh chalet towards the farmhouse inn.
(9) Before the farmhouse inn, take the hairpin bend path on the left that climbs through the pasture. Cross the Kruth road at Markstein and continue past the paragliders' car park, following the red and white rectangle markings to the Route des Crêtes.
(10) At the next junction, do not follow theGR®5marked trail, but climb towards the summit of Trehkopf on an unmarked trail immediately to the right.
(11) At the summit of Trehkopf, take the unmarked path on the left, following the ridge to Jungfrauenkopf.
(12) At Jungfrauenkopf, leave the toboggan run on your left and follow it downhill.
(13) Cross the Kruth road (D27) with caution and follow the red and white marked trail on the right towards Treh.
(14) Pass between the farmhouse and the livestock building and walk along the right-hand side of the latter until you reach Sainte-Anne Chapel.
(15) At the chapel exit, descend to the right towards the unmarked path below.
(16) On this unmarked path, before it enters the forest, take a track on the right to join the red and white marked trail at the edge of the forest.
(17) At the crossroads, take the marked path on the left which descends towards Oderen. Take the forest path on the left for a few hundred metres.
(18) Leave the forest track and take the Red and White Rectangle marked trail on the right.
(19) Turn right onto the yellow disc marked trail towards Oderen.
(20) Just after passing the Abri du Schalm, take the yellow disc marked trail on the left towards Oderen via Hensbach.
(21) At the Katzensteg viewpoint, continue on the yellow disc marked trail.
(22) At the junction with the path/road, turn right and descend towards Oderen, following the yellow disc markings.
(23) At the junction with Grand-Rue, go up to the right for a few dozen metres to the town hall car park (S/E).
