Near the village of Rillé, set off to explore the lake and ride along its shores to admire the superb landscapes, fauna and flora, and why not hop aboard a century-old steam train!

Before or after your visit to the Château d'Ussé, which is rumoured to have inspired Charles Perrault's 'Sleeping Beauty', I suggest a lovely circular route along the Indre and then the Loire. There is the option of stopping for a bite to eat in Bréhémont. Remarkable views of the château.

Between the Loire and Indre rivers, come and stroll along the old Cher river. You will follow paths through beautiful landscapes such as the "Les Bardeaux de l'Indre" nature reserve and the Port of Bréhémont.

Montsoreau and Candes-Saint-Martin are two villages that form a single urban area. They transcend regional boundaries because the Loire and the hillside unite them. This route allows you to discover the white houses scattered along the river and the confluence with the Vienne. This is a walk to be done at sunrise to fully enjoy the light shining on the façades.

A superb circular hike allowing you to discover Montsoreau, Fontrevaud and Candes-Saint-Martin in their natural setting and localities located in remarkable sites. The circular hike is done anti-clockwise on the hillside to enjoy a pleasant route through the woods and panoramic views of the right bank of the Loire.

A hilly route along the hillside through the vineyards. Home to a magnificent 14th-century Romanesque church and the Manoir de Morains, where Marguerite d'Anjou is said to have died. Dampierre-sur-Loire is also renowned as a commune in the Saumur-Champigny appellation. Please note: section along the Loire River impassable in case of flooding.

Mazières is a village located north of Cinq-Mars, 30 minutes from Tours. The village centre has retained the charm of the villages of the Touraine region, where life was once devoted to agriculture and forestry. The route passes through the woods of the large neighbouring estates. There are views of the vast rural landscapes. The most charming section is undoubtedly the Breuil valley. A pleasant hike that is never monotonous.

This beautiful Loire city certainly deserves a more in-depth visit, here it is offered a short discovery loop, a good option for a stopover on a journey between Anjou and Touraine regions.

A short walk around the Thouet, ideal for families.

This circular walk takes you to the clearing where Saint-Benoît-la-Forêt is nestled, in the heart of the Chinon state-owned forest. It alternates between clearings, dense undergrowth and open woodland, and allows you to explore part of the Saint-Benoît nature trail.

A hilly, wooded route. Situated on the left bank of the Loire, downstream from Saumur, this village in the Loire Valley is a former Gallo-Roman settlement and home to one of the most important archaeological sites in Maine-et-Loire. Finds made on the plateau prove human presence dating back to the Neolithic period (4500 to 4000 BC).

This hike combines nature and heritage and offers a pleasant walk through the forest and countryside. It is best done before or after a visit to the abbey, which is a major Romanesque site.

This route allows you to discover the beautiful architectural heritage of Chinon, as well as the banks of the Vienne, the Île de Tours, the troglodyte dwellings on the hillsides and a foray into the vineyards that also contribute to the reputation of this charming little town.

This beautiful and varied route takes you past a hillside of troglodyte houses, through some of the most beautiful plots of the Chinon vineyards - Le Clos de l'Olive, Le Clos Guillot, Le Chêne Vert, Le Coteau de Noiré - and back through the woods along a small stream that flows into the Vienne.

A route in the Azay le Rideau region, in the Chinon forest and then on the heights of the Indre valley. Don't miss: two beautiful residences and the remarkable oak tree at Cheillé church.

A walk that will take you through the vineyards and past the châteaux of Brézé, Grand Fond, Fouquet and La Ripaille.

The village of Brézé lies in the shadow of a castle steeped in history. It was to a member of the Dreux family, owners of Brézé, that Mirabeau addressed his famous reply on 23 June 1789: " We are here by the will of the people, and we shall only leave by force of bayonets." Grassy or stony towpaths along the Thouet and the Dive Canal.

Between woods and vineyards, this is a fairly short hike that offers beautiful architectural heritage.
