Lakes of Lavouet
An early summer outing to rediscover the Beaufortain Massif.
The atmosphere of a small resort, flower-filled mountain pastures, peaceful lakes and rushing torrents, the mineral world of the peaks: the mountains we love.
The Pointe de la Grande Journée and the Pas de l’Âne via the ridges
A truly beautiful hike that takes you along the entire summit ridge overlooking the Arêches valley, from the Col de la Bathie to the Pas de l’Âne, via the Pointe de Lavouet, the Pointe de la Grande Journée and the Pic de la Vache Rouge.
A steep climb from Le Planay is rewarded by magnificent, exposed sections along the narrow ridge path. The descent is straightforward and offers a wide variety of scenery.
Tour du Beaufortain
The Beaufortain, between Albertville and Bourg-Saint-Maurice, offers a 7-day tour that will take you on a journey through a landscape reminiscent of Switzerland.
Pointe de Lavouet circular walk
Ascent of Pointe de Lavouet, a less well-known peak than Pointe de la Grande Journée, offering views of Mont Blanc, Pierra Menta and the Col de la Bâthie. A beautiful, little-used circular route passing by the lovely Lac sans Fond and returning via the mountain pastures and the Col de la Bâthie. Best undertaken from June to October to avoid snow-covered sections that obscure the path and can be dangerous.
Circuit and summit of the Grand Mont starting from La Ravoire
In two stages with an overnight stay at the Apage mountain hut in Arêches
