Mountain bike route near Pont-à-Mousson

Park your car in the car park by the church in Lesménils.

(S/E) From the car park, walk down the road towards the RD910 roundabout.

(1) Carry on straight ahead to pass under the A31 motorway. The path climbs up to the forest.

(2) Then turn left at the edge of the forest, until you reach the next path.

(3) Take this path on the right. Continue to the Croix aux Ormes, at the entrance to Morville.

(4) Take the road on the right to reach Atton, passing through the Bois de la Fourasse and crossing the A31 motorway again. Take the path on the right at the entrance to the village.

(5) Take the path on the right at the entrance to the village. The path climbs up to the forest.

(6) At the gate in the forest, take the path opposite and follow it for about 600 metres.

(7) Turn left onto a very narrow path that runs alongside a ditch. You’ll come out onto a stony track.

(8) Follow it to the right for 1,200 metres.

(9) At the gate, turn left.

(10) When you reach the road to Mousson, turn right and cycle to the farm beyond the bridge over the D910.

(11) There, turn right and then, further down, at the entrance to Héminville, turn left.

(12) At the bottom of the hill, take the path on the right before the bend and head towards the church (S/E).

This walk can be done on foot by taking various shortcuts to shorten the original route and avoiding tarmac roads.
