Park near the church in Hirtzbach.
(S/E) Exit through the side door, turn right, cross the bridge and go up Rue Principale on the left towards Largitzen (blue ring).
At the fifth bridge, turn right onto Rue des Champs (blue ring) and head towards a mission cross (shaped like a tree trunk) accompanied by a statue of Mary Magdalene. Take the second right (blue ring).
(1) After the bend, leave the signposted route and turn right onto a gravel path. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead. At the next fork, turn right.
(2) When you reach a paved road, turn left to pass in front of a horse riding centre, then continue straight ahead to the Saint-Gluecker Chapel, which can be seen at the edge of the forest (blue ring).
(3) Make a detour to the chapel, return to the path and turn right (south-southwest).
(4) After 1.5 kilometres, at the crossroads with a signpost, turn left and continue towards Hirtzbach and Largitzen (blue ring and green cross). At the next crossroads, zigzag left and right and continue towards Hirtzbach following the same signs.
After the high-voltage power lines, turn right for 200 metres to reach the edge of the Landfuerstenweiher.
(5) Retrace your steps and continue straight ahead (blue ring and green cross). You will walk alongside the Neuweiher, a smaller pond (1 hectare). At the crossroads just after, turn left towards Hirtzbach and follow the signposted route (blue ring), passing under the high-voltage power lines again. At the next fork, go down to the right along the tarmac path.
(1) Return to the intersection at the start of the hike, then very quickly pass the cross and descend towards the village via Rue des Champs, which you took on the way there. Cross the stream, turn left, then right onto Rue de la Montagne.
after 100 metres, turn right onto the gravel path that runs between a half-timbered house and a modern residence.
Retrace your steps, turn right and go straight up. After a wide bend, continue to house no. 31, a modest day labourer's dwelling, of which there are several in Oberdorf. Leave Rue de la Montagne and go up the path on the right to the Sainte-Affre Chapel.
(6) At the chapel, turn left. After the spring, continue straight ahead until you reach the junction with Rue du Réservoir (green Greek cross). Go down to the left to the cemetery, cross the street, then turn right and enter the park (green Greek cross). Follow the path that curves to the left and then to the right and joins Rue du Château.
Turn left to reach the church (S/E).
