Camors Forest

Park in the car park next to the Camors tree-top adventure course. The walk continues on the^PR® (yellow markings).

(S/E) From the car park, head north-west towards the Étang du Petit Bois. Cross the road and follow the northern shore of the pond until you reach the fork at its far end.

(1) Turn right, heading due north, to reach another pond bordering the Moulin la Motte. Turn left and continue to a fork in the path.

(2) Turn right to follow the Ruisseau du Moulin la Motte and reach a fork.

(3) Pass the footbridge on your right and continue straight on, keeping to the left of the stream.

(4) Follow the D24. Cross another road, heading south-south-west, and reach a junction near a track (Ligne des Loges).

(5) Turn left to visit the Fontaine des Sabotiers. Then, still following the^PR®, join the Ligne des Loges. Follow it to the right for 100 m.

(6) Cross it and continue straight on until you reach the western edge of the forest on the Lambel side. Turn left and follow the track continuously, eventually heading south-east, to reach a crossroads (elevation 115) before Lambel.

(7) Turn left for 100 m onto the Ligne du Petit Bois, then turn right to return to the Ligne des Loges, until you reach a crossroad.

(8) Cross it and continue straight on along the Ligne du Nerven. 300 m before the railway line, take a short detour to the left towards the Menhir Bihan. As you approach the railway line, turn right and follow it until you reach a small tunnel.

(9) Go under the railway line and, immediately on the left at the exit, continue along it towards the south-east, then turn right onto the Ligne de la Vieille Forê for 300 m.

(10) Head right at the exit to reach a small, unnamed pond. Go round it and turn left for a few metres onto the Ligne de Nerven, then right to rejoin the railway line.

(11) Go through another tunnel under the railway line and turn right at the exit towards Croix Tortorec. Follow the railway line southwards, cross the Ligne de la Croix Tortorec and follow the south-eastern edge of the forest. You will reach the Ligne de Baud in Locoal; turn left onto it for a few metres.

(12) Turn left again onto Route de la Pépinière and you’ll come to a cross-country track.

(13) Turn right onto the Ligne de la Croix Tortorec. Further on, take a short detour to the Menhir Braz on the left. Continue to the Rond-Point de l'Étoile.

(14) Continue along the path opposite, heading east, then turn left towards the north onto the Ligne de la Noë Marrec, until you reach a fork.

(15) Turn right onto the Ligne du Grenan, turn right again onto this path and continue southwards to Bot Sapin, crossing a road.

(16) Turn left and cross the road, follow the D768 to join the Ligne de Camors and continue northwards to a fork.

(17) About 100 m before the end of the Ligne de Camors, turn left, then west, then north, and left again, heading west, to reach the tree-top adventure course and the car park (S/E).
