Three fountains circuit in Sainte-Colombe

Access: Sainte-Colombe Trinquet car park located next to the tennis courts near the sports hall.

Follow the green signs throughout the circuit.

(S/E) From the car park, join the D52 and follow it to the left. After about 200 m, turn left onto Chemin de Garrot. Ignore two turnings on the left.

(1) In a slight right-hand bend, leave the road and turn left onto a path. Cross a stream and climb up the other side.

(2) At an intersection (not shown on the 1:25,000 map), turn right. Pass under a high-voltage power line and reach a T-junction.

(3) Turn right onto Chemin du Rey. After about 150 m, take a path on the right that leads to the Fontaine des Huguenots.

(4) Turn around and go back to the previous intersection.

(3) Continue straight ahead until you reach another path (elevation 119) and follow it. Descend, turn left, then right along the path and, after crossing a stream, ascend. At a place called Chin, you will findthe Fontaine du Téoulé on your left.

(5) Continue on the paved road. Soon ignore another road on the left and, further on, a path on the right.

(6) Come out onto the D350 and follow it to the left. At a cross (elevation 129), turn right onto the main road.

(7) Just after a reservoir, turn left onto Chemin de la Hounrède. You will soon reach the fountain of the same name.

(8) Turn around and return to the D350.

(7) Follow the road to the left.

(9) At the crossroads shortly after, turn left onto the D52. Cross Chemin de Couloumine on your left, pass the town hall and arrive at the foot of the church.

(10) Turn left onto the D52, pass the cemetery and then the sports hall and you will find the Trinquet car park on your left (S/E).

All the trails have been restored and are currently maintained with the help of volunteers from the Chemin Faisons association.
