Park in the car park near the Club Vosgien chalet in Lemberg, Rue de la Montagne.
(S/E) Go down the steps alongside the Club Vosgien chalet. At the crossroads, ignore the return path opposite and turn right to join the forest road.
Red disc and yellow ring
Walk 100 m to the left and descend the small path towards the Ondines waterfall. Pass under the old railway bridge and reach the old Wasserfelsen wash house.
(1) Continue downhill to the small Ondines waterfall at the forest road.
Blue Triangle
(2) Continue right on the forest road towards the Helloch wash house. After about 300 metres, a narrow path branches off to the left.
(3) Take this forest path down to the old wash house.
Yellow Ring
(4) Turn left towards the Upper Bildmuhl ponds and then the Lower Bildmuhl ponds. You will reach the sign for "Lower Bildmuhl".
(5) Turn right towards "Hasselingerfelsen Sentier des Grottes" (Hasselingerfelsen Cave Trail) and go down the steps leading to the remains of the Bildmuhl mill cellar (sculpture of a Celtic matron on the stone wall). Picnic spot.
Continue along this pretty forest path lined with beautiful rocks to reach the old 18th-century Grebil-Kohl wash house.
(6) Go past the wash house and climb up to the intersection with the forest road, then continue climbing opposite on the cave trail to reach the Hasslingerfelsen cave rock (sheltered picnic area).
(7) Continue along the forest path until you reach the Handenkoepfel crossroads with the Hasslingerkehl Forest Road.
(8) Cross and climb up opposite towards the Chorfelsen cave until you reach it (sheltered picnic area).
(9) Walk to the intersection with the Krippenberg circular forest road. Turn right to reach the signpost for "Krippenfelsen". Take the small path on the right to the cave (sheltered picnic area).
(10) Continue along the path that joins the forest road and reach the crossroads of several forest roads.

(11) Head towards "Carrefour du Pont Neuf" and turn right for a round trip to the American memorial a few dozen metres away.
(12) Return to the path and turn right to reach the bridge and the Carrefour du Pont Neuf junction.

(13) Turn right towards Croix Saint Hubert and continue until you reach it (bench).
(14) Continue along the gently sloping forest road until you reach the Russian tomb (bench).
No markings
(15) With your back to the tomb, walk about 10 metres towards the "Tombe Russe" sign and turn right onto a wide sloping path to reach the forest road marked with a blue ring below.
Anneau Bleu
(16) Follow the forest road to the right for a few dozen metres, then turn left onto the forest path. After about 300 m, turn right at the signpost for "Direction Stèle du Souvenir".
(17) Return to the forest road via the footbridge and continue to the right until you reach the Kohllweise forest road.
(18) Turn left to follow this forest road, lined on the right with numerous private ponds, until you reach the large bend to the left. Continue straight ahead on a slight slope, then turn right at the junction of several paths. Continue to the intersection with the Kreuzberg forest road.

(19) Continue to the right until you reach the Pont Neuf crossroads.

(13) Head west towards Lemberg on the tarmac track until you reach the three-way junction blocked by a metal barrier.
(20) Continue on the left towards "Chalet du Club Vosgien", which you will reach as on the way there by going up the stairs (S/E).
